Our Story
Stanmore farm has been in the family since 1929. With the 3rd, 4th and 5th generation currently living on the farm, this place holds some amazing memories and history.
For us, this life is about respect and stewarding the life we have been blessed with.

Our Story
Stanmore is a working farm with both livestock and crops, We built our cottages in 2025 with quiet in mind- There's no rush here. Mornings are for coffee, afternoons are for birding and farm walks and evenings are for stargazing and wine at the fire. An escape to the country with exposure to the real farming life.
Family is hugely valued by us, we would love your family to experience a piece of our paradise.
Our History

The farm first belonged to Janet's great-grandfather in the early 1900s. Her brother later inherited it, and when he emigrated, she bought the land back and has lovingly tended it ever since. In 2015 her son, Daniel, returned home to farm by her side. Together they've gently grown Stanmore from a simple beef farm into a successful, diverse operation of vegetables, horse radish, seed potatoes and sheep- a place where family, history and the land are all woven together.
